Synopsis:

Two young girls from the city find themselves bored in the countryside, so attempt to alleviate their boredom by drinking vodka out on a boat in the middle of a lake. In doing so they inadvertently explore the peacefulness of the country side, lose themselves in the beauty of a hot summer’s day and strengthen their own friendship.

Written, Produced & Directed by Eoin C Macken, shot by Gerry Balfe Smyth, with Carl Shaaban and Maeve Macken executive producing, and featuring fresh performances from newcomers Niamh Macken and Amber Jean Rowan. Mekali is a simple relaxing story that will draw you in and allow you to breath.
